Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without at least one rousing, heart-warming carol singing session!
Even the coldest Scrooge’s can’t fail to feel Christmassy once they hear the opening bars of those famous Christmas tunes.
And this Christmas, London’s hoping to host the world’s biggest ever carol sing-a-long!
To celebrate the world premiere of Disney’s A Christmas Carol in London, and the first-ever co-ordinated Christmas light switch-on across the capital, we’re asking you to help us find London’s favourite Christmas Carol.
The song below with the most votes will be sung at London’s Christmas Carol on 3 November across the city, as London comes together to break the world record for the largest-ever Christmas carol sing-a-long!
Help choose the song that London will sing by voting for your favourite Christmas carol below:

I vote for Hark the Herald Angels Sing
What a lovely idea! I hope that it will be televised in some way! (I voted for “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen”.)
You can listen to the Christmas carol sing-a-long world record attempt live on Heart FM or watch it streamed live online: details coming soon!
I’ve always liked Deck the Halls best.
And I haven’t heard Slade yet.
I’m up for Hark the Herald….. i always like it when everyone sings HARK really loudly in comparison to the rest of the song
. Silent night requires people to be *much* more tuneful.
Carol singing in the first week of November?!?
Charles Dickens would have shuddered at the thought.
London deserves a silent night instead.
Can’t have the Carol Singing in December though – the space is reserved for the Easter festivities.
I agree with Diamond Geezer. Nobody should be singing carols in November. And perhaps London should stop singing. Ever. I don’t like Christmas – bring on the comforting and song-less misery of January.
Aww, Ema. You sound like the Scrooge in the header… Can’t we have a little London-themed goodwill to all men for a couple of months?!!!
In Dulci Jubilo is the best carol.
Go Hark!
Come on people, it has to be Hark the herald, please get voting. It is the one with the most umpf and we need that for a record attempt.
I totally agree with Neil & Esther – Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is totally the one that should be sung! It’s beautiful…x
Hark the Herald Angels…a good rollicking finish!
Frosty the snowman!!!!!
Why so few choices?
Yes can you imagine the durgy Silent Night being sung…Hark the Herald is by far, clearly, the ONLY sensible choice for a Christmas Carol World Record attempt – booming fantastic awesome finish with David Willcock’s descant
This looks like a great idea am looking forward to singing along!
HARK, THE HERALD, should be be sung, it is so uplifting and joyus,
and i think the events should be televised, lets put smiles back on our faces before christmas, as there is to much doom and gloom around us at the moment,
happy christmas to you all,
You’ve only got a few hours left to vote!
I vote for ‘God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen’
