Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without at least one rousing, heart-warming carol singing session!
Even the coldest Scrooge’s can’t fail to feel Christmassy once they hear the opening bars of those famous Christmas tunes.
And this Christmas, London’s hoping to host the world’s biggest ever carol sing-a-long!
To celebrate the world premiere of Disney’s A Christmas Carol in London, and the first-ever co-ordinated Christmas light switch-on across the capital, we’re asking you to help us find London’s favourite Christmas Carol.
The song below with the most votes will be sung at London’s Christmas Carol on 3 November across the city, as London comes together to break the world record for the largest-ever Christmas carol sing-a-long!

I’m up for Hark the Herald….. i always like it when everyone sings HARK really loudly in comparison to the rest of the song

I agree with Diamond Geezer. Nobody should be singing carols in November. And perhaps London should stop singing. Ever. I don’t like Christmas – bring on the comforting and song-less misery of January.

Why so few choices?
Yes can you imagine the durgy Silent Night being sung…Hark the Herald is by far, clearly, the ONLY sensible choice for a Christmas Carol World Record attempt – booming fantastic awesome finish with David Willcock’s descant

HARK, THE HERALD, should be be sung, it is so uplifting and joyus,
and i think the events should be televised, lets put smiles back on our faces before christmas, as there is to much doom and gloom around us at the moment,

hi 4get those scrooges lets get together and have some fun. well done london, i go to the switch on every year with my 6 kids and my sister and her kids and we’v been doing it for 20 years. there so much war and crime in this worlds so one days lets 4get andbe kids again.
