But where in London will you be heading to buy your gifts?

Will the prospect of a traffic-free Oxford Street and Regent Street lure you to the West End this weekend? Or would you prefer to shop undercover (and safe from whatever the weather has in store) at Westfield?

Are you a bargain-hunter who’ll be after unique gifts at one of London’s markets? Or an eco-conscious shopper, having a green Christmas?

    I went to Covent Garden this weekend. It was busy but very festive with the giant reindeer!

    I usually head out of the centre of London to somewhere like Kingston or Greenwich for the shopping and Christmassy markets!

    I loved the West End’s traffic free day last year. There was a great atmosphere as pedestrians took over the roads for a day!

    Greenwich Market is great for unusual gifts so you can be confident that the recipient won’t get two of the same thing! Plus you can stop for a treat at one of the food stalls. Yum…
