Easter is just a few days away, and it’s the best excuse we can think of to scoff as much chocolate as possible!
But not just any old chocolate, we want the good stuff. We want the best chocolate in London, so tell us where we can get our greedy mouths on it.
Do you like the beautiful displays and sweet delights at Fortnum and Mason? Or do handmade, organic Rococo chocolates take your fancy? Ever seen a finely crafted chocolate rose at one of Paul A Young’s shops?
Is there somewhere in your corner of London selling the most mouth-watering truffles or the richest hot chocolate?
We want to know…
I might head along to Borough Market where the Real Food Festival stalls are doing Easter goodies this Thursday 1 April.
There will be stall from chocolate companies, with chocolate making demonstrations and make your own Easter egg sessions for visitors.
I’ll definitely be at Borough on Thursday then.
I love Prestat truffles. They have an easter collection that i’m sure would be delicious http://www.prestat.co.uk/chocolates/gift-occasions/luxury-easter-eggs
If you like posh chocs, go to Belgravia. Rococo on Motcomb Street and William Curley on Ebury Street are both fab.
I love Montezuma in Spitalfields Market. They sell huge slabs of chocolate, truffles, cute little bars and all kinds of unusual concotions. Plus if you hang around outside there’s often someone with a tray of tasters. Yum.
As an aromatherapist that cooks with essential oils, I have to say my favorite chocolate is from Rococco Chocolates. No trip to London would be complete without a visit to RC!
Definitely Demarquette – Fine Chocolates on Fulham Road and in Fortunum & Mason. http://www.demarquette.com
I love William Curley’s chocolates. He is based in Belgravia and Richmond and has some incredible flavours. He has also been awareded the Best British Chocolatier for the last 3 years. Very tasty!
Dark chocolate is my favorite kind of chocolate. Chocolates have some natural antioxidants too.~;;
