Was at Box Hill for the press launch today and although it was a foggy and wet day it was great to think ahead to the summer of next year and imagine the people lining the sides of the roadds cheering the riders on.

The new route has just recently been decided so I can’t find a map of it yet. Keep an eye on the http://www.london2012.com site though as it will (hopefully) appear there at some point. And if I see one, I’ll let you know!

I know that almost none of the names/places mentioned in the articles mean nothing to me so it would be nice to be able to see it on a map to put it in perspective. Not everyone is familiar with Bushy Park and Putney.

The loop down to Surrey has some good climbs too and is a popular cycling route. I can’t wait to watch in Richmond Park!
