These experiences have reaffirmed our love for our capital. It's culture, music, history and general 'buzz' owe a lot to it's plethora of nationalities and history of diversity. We would encourage people to visit, if not stay for good! We've been creating a collection of Ebooks to help visitors and expats find great places to eat. This is a link to our Australian one so have a look (they're free by the way!)

I thought moving to London cured me of drinking cup after cup of coffee, but it's just that I couldn't find (Melbourne snob) decent coffee.

The best is here (http://home.btconnect.com/sacredcafe/locations_torrington.htm) but for City workers the Taylor St (http://www.taylor-st.com/) outlet near Liverpool St provides all the great coffee, Tim Tams, and vegimite toast you might need.

Hey Fleur.... we'll get to Russia too, I promise! In fact, it's scheduled for May 2012. Can you wait that long?

Here's the <a href="http://blog.visitlondon.com/worldinlondon/the-world-in-london-full-list-of-noc-countries/" rel="nofollow">complete list</a>. It seems Russia was quite late getting in on the Olympics thing: only joined in 1993 :)

British people always ask: "Why did you move to London? It's so sunny in Sydney!". My answer is always a list: "Gateway to Europe; Stacks of culture and history; Great gigs from bands that won't fly to Australia; Pubs older than my whole country; and the British sense of humour."
