Visit London Asks: What’s Your Favourite Fancy Dress Event in London?

Last weekend saw another successful Chap Olympiad as competitors umbrella-jousted their way to glory and spectators sipped Pimm’s from the comfort of a picnic blanket.

Everyone got into the spirit of chap, dressing up in style with tweed, vintage dresses, military wear and sailors aplenty!

We know that Londoners love to dress up, but what’s your favourite fancy dress event in London?

Do you get your 1940s clobber out for the Blitz Party, or relive your salad days at School Disco? Or would you like to get into the 60s spirit with  Oh My God! I Miss You’s Grind A Go Go?

You might want to try the famous club de Fromage. I just came back from Latitude fest and saw them there, which reminded me they are the Kings of Fancy dress in London.

Club de Fromage in Angel is awesome for crazy costumes, plus you get to queue jump if you come in fancy dres!!

You can’t beat The Church (late of Kentish Town, now of Clapham Junction) for dress-up high-jinks. Where do those kids get their crazy ideas?
