This sounds great! Summer in London allows for many many different festivals to start up ans also many to continue running (such as the wireless festival - the hyde park music festival and other events) but why not try something new? Not too far away from home either, such as wine tasting weekends which aare interesting and fun (and allow you to drink) they are indeed very fun and enjoyable.

I am celebrating summer to the MAX even though I am unemployed at the moment I am still enjoying the free outdoor festivals , group walks around London , outdoor cinema screenings , amateur comedy nights , beer gardens ( lots with special offers! ) meal vouchers , free wine tastings ( fun and educational! ) roof gardens , picnics and the general thrill of simply being out and about in the sunshine ( while it lasts!! )

When winter comes its time to knuckle down , get to work in the mornings in the rain and rush hour , start paying the VERY high fuel costs and generally gritting my teeth and bearing the cold :-(

in summer London is an amazing city, plenty of things to do, I am celebrating summer With friends going to festivals, parks, BBQS, picnics ect…
having cold drinks, champage, wine, beers….

I will be celebrating summer by spreading cheer and goodwill by playing my Vuvuuzela. On the Underground. In the rush hour. I can see the welcoming smiles now, as I board the carriages..

I love summer in London when the weather is 30Â°C, with a great wine or Pimms, strawberries and great music together with my friends …. loving picnics and swimming in the many cool London pools!

I’ll take my 5 year old for picnics at the Phoenix garden or in the rose garden in Hyde Park. And there are so many free festivals around too in the summer!

When it’s summer in London, head to the parks. London is blessed with plenty of green spaces, from the small churchyard gardens in the City, the big Regents and Hyde parks in the west end, and the suburban spaces of Hampstead Heath and Clapham Common – any many, many more. Bring a picnic, meet some friends and enjoy!
