In Pictures: The Thames Revival 2010

Boats and bunting were the order of the weekend at the Thames Revival. The event, part of the Mayor’s Thames Festival, celebrated maritime history with a gathering of classic boats at St Katharine Docks.

There was lots of nautical fun to be had including a vintage tea tent, paper boat racing and a 1930s-themed party, SS Atlantica, aboard the Silver Sturgeon.

the boats were fab, LOVED the champagne set up (i think it’s picture 7) and it was so relaxed round the docks in comparison to the frantic eating and stall-shopping around london/tower bridge
