Visit London Asks: How Will You Celebrate Chocolate Week?

Chocolate Week starts today (hurray!) and we’d love to know how you’re planning to indulge over the next seven days.

Enjoy an afternoon sugar rush with special chocolate afternoon teas at The Botanist, The Royal Horseguard’s hotel or the Hilton on Park Lane. Or try a Fairtrade chocolate cocktail at K West.

Work your way through an entire chocolate dinner at the Bingham. Or maybe just pay a visit to your favourite chocolate shop?

yesterday i went with the Montezuma organic giant dark chocolate button. it was a good choice.

  2. I have some delicious chocolate truffles that I had sent to me from Cocoa Mountain in Scotland that I’m going to polish off with some single Scottish Malt Whisky…a perfect combination…

I had a wagon wheel last night, but I might go and investigate some of those chocolate shops on Saturday!

      wagon wheel?

you know, i loved a dessert i had the other night, figs baked for 5 minutes and then nestled in a melted choc and cream sauce. simple and superb.

    • Keith says:

HAHA! Wagon wheel? Not had one of those in for-ever!! Hope you find something a little more gourmet when you hit the shops.

Couldn’t get away from doing SOMETHING for chocolate week the mrs and I are heading to Almeida’s tomorrow to try their chocolate menu http://bit.ly/cFiC3V. The whole idea is to get a little experimental with using chocolate in cooking and includes such delights as “Slow braised suckling pig belly, creamed Savoy, Madagascan chocolate jus”

I’ll let you know how it goes…..
