Happy birthday, Unicorn Theatre!

And what a great present to the five-year-old building: 20 large-scale murals by children’s artist Quentin Blake. The pictures are of theatrical characters, specially created for the Unicorn, and include a boyish Hamlet, a stilt-walker, and a fat lady, lips stretched as she sings.

The murals have been created as part of the Unicorn’s Play Your Part campaign, supporting the theatre’s work with children in underprivileged primary schools.
