I’ve done the Oxford Street ones before (as in attended the ceremony not switched them on myself), but never Regent Street, and I have to say despite my local pride for Oxford Street, Regent looks much much better this year. I find those gift box things on Oxford Street to be very unspectacular.

I've never been to a switch on before either, and I want to see more! Basil Brush is switching on the lights in Croydon next week....

Despite being in London for several years, this was the first time I made it to a Christmas light switch on. Good work by the cast of Jersey Boys!
