London’s Hyde Park will host a free football festival in the run-up to the UEFA Champions League Final in May.

Organised by UEFA, the eight-day festival will include:

  • Live football areas
  • Five-a-side tournaments
  • Master classes
  • Entertainment and bars

There’ll also be a chance for fans to get up close to the UEFA Champions Trophy at a “travelling museum”.

The men’s UEFA Champions League Final takes place at Wembley on 28 May, while the women’s final is at Craven Cottage on 26 May.

The Hyde Park football festival runs from 21-28 May 2011

Hi Nick. Just checked and unfortunately they won’t be showing the final on big screens at the festival.

I’m sure plenty of London pubs and bars will be showing the match. Here’s a list of London sports bars
