I&#039;m sure the cocktail tastes great with Kirsch, but the Singapore Sling followed in the tradition of the colonial &#039;pink gins&#039;, so colour matters in my book. Also (German) Kirsch never made it to SE Asia, whereas red cherry brandy like De Kuyper or Bols was certainly present in the Dutch East Indies..]]></description>
