London Photo of the Week: Geese in Wapping

What’s in Wapping spotted these geese waddling about near Wapping New Stairs. The stairs allow access to the Thames foreshore at low tide.

The London 2012 shop have a pin badge of an Egyptian Goose as part of their new British Birds pin badge collection.

  2. Our visiting pair of Egyptian geese seem to be here to stay in Wapping for a while and were last seen a couple of days ago in Wapping Woods (about a mile north from New Stairs).

    They’re surprisingly tame and friendly and enjoying the attention from local residents who we met feeding them
