Would you be willing to put it on display?

Work has been underway to update the displays inside the palace, which is due to re-open to the public on 26 March 2012 following a three-year project to transform the building. Now we would like to invite people from the local community to tell their stories about the building and the people who lived there.

If you have an object that relates to the palace and would allow us to put it on display we would like to hear from you. It doesn’t need to be a valuable prized possession, but it does need to have a good story behind it, relevant to Kensington Palace in some way.

Perhaps you have an old photograph of the palace, a piece of memorabilia, or a cherished personal item with some link to one of its famous royal inhabitants. Maybe you worked at the palace in the past and have a great story to share with us?

How to get involved
To be considered the object must be smaller than 40cm x 40cm x 50cm.

If you have an object you’d like to share, send us a photograph of your object with a short description of how it relates to Kensington Palace, plus your name, address and telephone number and email:
