Jean Rhys was born in Dominica but lived in London in the 1930s.

Thanks for the plug for the show but the photos are not of the Dominican Republic, but of Dominica (official title Commonwealth of Dominica).
It would be good to get it changed, as a common mistake there’s nothing more likely to upset the Dominicans!
