My wife rides in a wheelchair and not only did we have easy access everywhere by taxi–all fitted with wheelchair ramps–but we also received very kind treatment at all tourist spots. Being in a wheelchair can be difficult but the friendly taxi drivers, Beefeaters and restaurants made it a lot of fun. No other city that I know of has such easy wheelchair access by taxi.
