Video: Olympic Rings Light Up Tower Bridge

Since yesterday, Tower Bridge has been sporting giant Olympic rings to mark one month to go until the Olympic Games. The milestone was celebrated last night with a light show on the bridge. You can see the light effects from about 2m30 on the video.

Wow, I had no sooner twittered out a question about the Rings’ lighting when I got this linke via VisitLondon’s twitter.
LOVED VIDEO!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. Memories of running and playing all over Tower Bridge from years’ past filled my head and the lights are so much fun! Best of luck with 2012 Olympics.

Wow, love the red, white and blue. Will these lights be happening all thru the Olympics? Awesome

Hi Londonette. The new lighting system will be in place for 25 years (!) so we expect the light show might happen again during the Games. And London’s other bridges along the Thames will be lit up during the evenings of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
