I cant even walk around a vast amount of land in the country i live in and see and enjoy where it has all been spent. just because i couldnt get to the games shouldnt mean we should lose out. by the time next summer comes half the country will have forgotten about the games and the pavements will be covered in weeds.

Especially for those of us who couldn’t get to the Games, for whatever reason. It would have been nice if it could have stayed open for a few months, say until the end of the year.

The Park will close after the Paralympic Games and part of it will re-open in July 2013, with the rest opening in spring 2014.
