A wax figure of FC Barcelona’s top goal scorer, Lionel Messi, was unveiled today at Wembley Stadium, the venue for next year’s UEFA Champions League Final.
The figure, which portrays Messi in his signature goal celebration pose, cost £150,000 and took four months to create. It will go on display at Madame Tussauds from 24 September, alongside a figure of Messi’s Real Madrid rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Nice figure, but the game will be played at the Camp Nou tonight, not Wembley. Wembley is where the final will be played
