The atmosphere was great with only one drunken person trying to cause trouble that we saw.

Upon leaving the area, we were really impressed by the organisation – the police really had things under control and did a fantastic job – many thanks to them.

The only thing we were truly disappointed with was the live DJ playing from 10pm to midnight. As a family (as most of the people around us) we were expecting, and would have loved, to hear loads of real party, feel-good classics, old and new. Instead, there was just track after track of thumping, club type ‘music’. It just felt like the music was aimed towards youngsters rather than catering for all age groups. Such a shame, because that would have made our 4 hour wait seem much quicker.
