I'm a freelance writer, and although I've lived in London for eight years, the city still gives me the same thrill as it did the first time I stepped off the train as a wide-eyed country girl! I love the fact that the city offers free entry to so many world-class museums and galleries, and that - no matter how obscure or eccentric your interests - you can always find a community of like-minded people in London. I'm also passionate about real ale, especially from London breweries, and you can often find me at a London beer festival sampling their wares.
