Last week I travelled to Wembley Stadium, the home of football. But this time was different: I was not there to watch a match, or see a concert.

Instead, I found myself on the fifth floor of the stadium looking down at the pitch. I couldn’t help thinking what a long drop it was… and considering I was about to zip wire across the stadium to the pitch on the far side, the ground suddenly seemed very far away.

After my safety briefing I was strapped into my harness and with increasing levels of nerves, I watched Tim Lovejoy and Chris from Muse run down the first few steps, then take off into the air over the pitch. After watching their successful attempts, I felt was ready to take on the challenge.

What a great way to see Wembley! You travel the 200m across the stadium at about 25 miles an hour. It really was one of the most exhilarating things I have ever done in London and a fantastic way to round up the Wembley Stadium Tour.
