French chef Hélène Darroze at The Connaught was awarded two Michelin stars, while the following all obtained one of the coveted stars:

The Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.

When the first UK guide was published in 1911, it was an instructional guide for motorists, with details of how to change a tyre and find repair shops.

Since then it has become a trusted and eagerly anticipated guide to the best hotels, restaurants and pubs across the UK.
