Each week we share with you a fantastic London video – sometime shot by tourists, sometimes by schoolkids, sometimes featuring singers or other stars. But our weekly showcase of London videos aren’t often as starry as today’s offering.

Here’s a glimpse into the making of the new James Bond film, Skyfall, which appears to have some significant stretches of action in London. Ignore Sam Mendes’ assertion that London’s “not a particularly photogenic city” (what?!) instead listen to Daniel Craig telling us the this is Bond in Britain, and that London is a “very beautiful place.”

Bond is back and this time he’s at The Barbican. Designing 007: Fifty Years of  Bond Style is an exhibition celebrating the world’s most illustrious spy, who first appeared on our screens in 1962.

On display are Bond gadgets, costumes, set designs, props, weapons, artwork and stunts; all of which help to create the world of James Bond on screen. 

There are impressive full-size models such as Jill Masterson’s golden-sprayed body from 1964′s Goldfinger and scenery from recent Bond movie, Casino Royale. I especially loved the bikinis worn by Ursula Andress and Halle Berry in Dr No and Die Another Day respectively, and the Golden Gun from The Man with the Golden Gun.

Bon Jovi took a break from their latest tour with a London RIB Voyage on the Thames last week.

We wonder if they found it Slippery When Wet…

Charlie Matheson, owner of London RIB said, “They all enjoyed themselves. It really is the best way to see London in 50 minutes!

“We have to pick up some serious speed to get out past Canary Wharf and back in such a short amount of time; powering through London as you “pull G” past Tower Bridge is exciting by anybody’s standards.

“Jon Bon Jovi said it was a seriously James Bond-like experience.”

Charlie also revealed they’ve got Rod Stewart booked for later this month, and have recently taken out Sharon Osborne, Kings of Leon, Boris Johnson and Joanna Lumley!
