The Indian state of Kerala arrives in London this July, with the Kerala Carnival 2010 setting up shop on the South Bank.
The two-day colourful carnival of music, food and dance takes place inside a traditional Indian temple created especially for the event.
Browse the delicately-made handicrafts, sample famous Ayurvedic health and beauty treatments, or if you’re really taken by the event, pick-up some information to book your own holiday to India’s popular south-western state.
The event ends with a gala evening celebrating the spirit of Kerala – you’ll soon feel like an adopted Keralite!
Kerala Carnival: 7 July (12am-7pm) and 8 July (11am-6pm) at Riverside Walkway, South Bank. Admission Free.
