Visit London is getting really excited about London Film Day this Sunday.
The event promises to be one of the world’s “biggest” film premieres, with Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang being shown for the first time, simultaneously, in 15 London cinemas.
Emma Thompson is Nanny McPhee, the warty but lovable childcare worker who manages to be firm but fair. In her latest caper, Nanny McPhee helps mum Maggie Gyllenhaal to tame her rag-tag kids. The film also features Rhys Ifans, Maggie Smith and Ralph Fiennes.
Be part of this exciting event by getting tickets for your local cinema. There’s a full list of participating cinemas at www.bfi.org.uk/londonfilmday.
Best of all, tickets are only £5 for adults and £1 for kids, with free workshops and other activities planned at most cinemas on the day.
