Paralympic sport was celebrated in Trafalgar Square yesterday as Paralympic athletes showcased the 20 Paralympic sports of the 2012 Games, including Wheelchair Basketball, Powerlifting and Wheelchair Rugby.

Paralympic tickets are on sale now until 26 September 2011, so don’t miss your chance to see these exciting sports next year.

Ticket prices for the London 2012 Paralympic Games have been revealed.

Two million tickets will be available, with half of them costing £10 or less. More than 95% of  all the tickets on offer cost £50 or less.

Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies start from £20.12, with the most expensive tickets priced at £500 for the opening ceremony.

Tickets for spectators who are under 16 or over 60 on 29 August 2012 start from just £5.

The Paralympic Games takes place between 29 August and 9 September 2012. There will be 20 sports taking place at 19 venues.

Put 15 March 2011 in your diaries: it’s the day tickets to the London 2012 Olympic Games go on sale!

There are 650 sports sessions to choose from, but don’t worry, you’ll have six weeks to make up your mind about which you’d like to attend, as sales are open until 26 April 2011. Oversubscribed sessions will be allocated via a ballot process.

There will be 6.6 million Olympic tickets made available to the general public. Two million people have already signed up to the 2012 ticketing database. If you’re not one of them, make sure you sign up now.
