2012 has been a landmark year for London thanks to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Diamond Jubilee, which celebrated 60 years of the Queen’s reign. And to top it all off, London’s newest skyscraper the Shard was inaugurated, transforming London’s skyline. Here are a few of our favourite images from an amazing and unforgettable year.

Here’s a gorgeous London video from 37th Productions that I spotted on YouTube earlier this week.

With a fantastic Rolling Stones soundtrack, and some really quirky shots of the capital, this is a really polished piece of film-making showing off all the best bits of our fair city. Enjoy.

Daniele Tenerani got in touch this week to tell us about this video. Three weeks ago, Daniele visited London, and had a great time filming some different parts of the city.

Here’s the results: a great little film that takes you from Covent Garden to Little Venice, to the terraces at Upton Park and the banks of the Thames.
