Crack open the champagne as The Savoy hotel re-opens in just three days time (you might have heard us mentioning it once or twice!) We’ve become more and more excited ever since we had a sneaky look round in August.

The Savoy re-opens 10 October 2010
The grand old lady of London hotels, The Savoy, is accepting room bookings from today, for the first time since it closed for refurbishment in 2007.
When the hotel reopens on 10 October (10.10.10) it will boast two luxurious new River Suites, a completely revamped River Restaurant, a glamorous new Art Deco bar and a rooftop swimming pool.
Afternoon tea will be served in a stunning winter garden under an ornate glass dome, and the Savoy Grill will re-launch under the operation of Gordon Ramsay Holdings.
