A host of London restaurants are celebrating today after receiving coveted Michelin Stars.
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal has been promoted from one star to two, while Lima has become Europe’s first Michelin starred Peruvian restaurant, and new eateries Story and Social Eating House are among the establishments gaining their first stars.
Rebecca Burr, Editor of the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2014, said, “The Michelin Guide has always reflected what’s out there and London in particular has never offered so much choice – there really is something for everyone and for every occasion and there appears to be no end to the number of exciting new restaurant openings.”
New Michelin Stars have been awarded to:
- Dinner by Heston Blumenthal (two stars)
- Greenhouse (two stars)
- Angler at South Place Hotel
- Outlaw’s at the Capital
- Ametsa with Arzak Instruction at the Halkin
- Brasserie Chavot
- Bo London
- Social Eating House
